IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Edward
Brown
November 27, 1979 – January 23, 2021
Edward Charles Brown was born November 27, 1979, in Cordele, Georgia. He was the beloved son of Charles Edward Brown, Sr. and the late Pauline Mercer Brown..
He attended the public schools of Crisp County and participated in numerous school organizations, activities and sporting events. At an early age, he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior.
Edward was a mild mannered man with a big heart and generous spirit. He was a loving son, a devoted husband, a caring brother, a nurturing uncle, a committed cousin and a loyal friend who gave of himself freely. Edward truly loved life; loved his family; and he never met a stranger. His warm smile, encouraging words, sense of humor, and twinkle in his eyes touched the lives and hearts of many people. Oftentimes, he could be found engaging family and friends in a good "trash talking" session that could last for endless hours. "Greedy" as he was affectionately called, enjoyed sports, listening to music, good food, and spending time with family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of being a part of his life..
On January 23, 2021, Edward departed this earthly life and entered into eternal rest. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Brown.
Fond memories will forever be cherished by his father, Charles (Becky) Brown of North Carolina; siblings, Malcom Mercer of Americus, GA, and Letanya (Deontavious) Riggins, Shiela Brown (Kenneth Ferguson), and Michael (Kiesha) Brown of Cordele, GA; his loving and devoted wife, Patricia McKinsey of Cordele, GA; nephews, Anthony Dixon of North Carolina, Willie Mercer of Tampa, FL, Dayquon Williams of Cordele, GA, Jordan Brown of Hawkinsville, GA, and Ruben D. (Kathy) Lamb of Denton, TX; nieces, Natoria Mercer, Tomeka D. Brown, Dendoria Brown, Miranda Brown, and Nakauiya Clark all of Cordele, GA, Racheal (Samantha) Ryan and Rosa Lamb of Perry, GA, and Christine and Lisa Fullington of Pinehurst, GA; aunts and uncles; and a host of cousins, extended family, and friends.
