IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Elizabeth S.
Mcdowell
May 30, 1964 – April 26, 2022
Elizabeth Sheila McDowell was born on May 30, 1964, in St. Petersburg, Florida. She was born to the late Pearlie and Willie Paige (Jimmy Tookes), was preceded in death.
She was educated in the Dougherty County School System, graduating from Albany High School.
She was joined in holy matrimony to Gregory McDowell. God blessed them with three beautiful children, Gregory Paige, Shakelia (Antonio) Fuller, and Leonardo (Desiree) Paige, who was taught to love and help one another. She was a devoted wife and mother who took great care of her family. She made sure her family was well -maintained before anything.
Over the years she worked for Bob's Candies for many years and was currently working at Monumental Development Center, where she had
love for all children. She was a valued employee where she took pride in her work.
She gave her life to the Lord at a young age and was a member of Grace Emmanuel Art of the Covenant Center under Bishop McAuthur and Lady Carolyn Rouse.
She was described as a Strong and Beautiful person. She was a joy to be around and some would call her the life of the party. If you came in her presence, you would always leave with a memory of her. She made everyone feel welcome. Now take a moment to remember the time you had with her where she made you laugh.
"Ohhh Sheila" was a jewel, right? She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and took great pleasure in the simple pleasures of life. She was the "glue" of the family that held everyone together.
Loving memories will forever be cherished by her sisters and brothers, Tracey (Lorenza) Huckaby Sr., Angela (Howard) Wheeler, Pamela (William) Jones, Wanda Paige preceded in death, Sonya (Lorenzo) Still, Stacey (Calandra) Paige, Krystal Paige, Kim (Freddrick) Walker, Willie Paige, Debbie Paige, Otis Clark, and Terry Clark. Sheila had a special place in her heart for her beautiful loving aunt Patricia Page and brother-in- law Bobby Stevens who preceded in death.
She leaves behind dear loves ones close to her: mother-in-law Mrs. Emma McDowell, sister-in-law Latricia Stevens, brother-in-law
Ronald (Gloria) McDowell, brother-in-law Jeffrey (Jackie) McDowell, favorite cousin Martha Edwards, very special friends Sharon McDowell, Cynthia Walker, Yolanda Cutts, Annette Brazier, Debra Brinkley, and a very caring nephew Jayden Paige.
She dedicated her life to all her grandchildren, Jordan, Ny'Asia, Ja'Carter, Ja'Naivia, Ja'Miyla, Ja'Naa, Ja'Kai, Ja'Kel, TyRek, and Kameron; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She will truly be missed but her presence will forever be with us.
