IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ella Lee
Graham
January 11, 1943 – September 22, 2020
Ella Lee Graham was born January 11, 1943, in Albany, Georgia. She was the beloved daughter of the late Willie D. Laster, Sr. and the late Essie Mae Graham.
She was educated in the Dougherty County School System, including Monroe High School. Throughout her school years, she was active in various student organizations and activities.
Ella was raised in a Christian home where she was nurtured in the Word of God. As a youth, she accepted Christ as her Savior and began her journey of Christian stewardship at Third Kiokee Baptist Church. Ella was a faithful member for more than 60 years and devoted herself to unparalleled service on the #2 Usher Board and the Culinary Arts Ministry. Her faith and trust in God guided her life and allowed her to be an example for all who encountered her.
As a loving and devoted mother, she was extremely conscientious in caring for the needs of her family. She was an incredibly talented cook whose culinary skills were put to test in the Food Service Division of Palmyra Hospital. Over the years, she worked untiringly and retired after rendering 28 years of loyal and dedicated service.
Ella had a servant's heart and took great pride in using her God-given talents to help others. She was considered by many as a wise and trusted counsel, a difference maker, and an unforgettable friend. Her life was filled with many interesting experiences, including membership in Women of Excellence and the Order of Eastern Stars (OES).
