Emite Jackson, Sr. was born May 4, 1931 to Benjamin & Minnie Lee Jackson in Albany Ga. Emite confessed Christ at an early age.

As a child and as an adult Emite enjoyed hobbies such as fishing, hunting, and watching western movies.

In the early 1960's he met his beloved wife and friend, Florence Jackson in Albany, GA.

Emite started working at M&M Mars Company in the late 1960's as a Machine Operator, where he retired in 1993.

Emite was a family-oriented man. He believed in family trips, gatherings, backyard barbques, and telling stories of his childhood. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was adored, admired, wise and outspoken. He met no strangers.

On April 28, 2022; God called Emite home.

Emite was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin & Minnie Lee Jackson, Brothers; Henry Lee & Romer Jackson; Daughters Athelia & Valarie and Step Sons; Richard Huff & Evans Edwards.

Emite leaves to cherish his loving memory; three children Clare Jackson Durham, Emite Jackson Jr and John L. Jackson; six step-children; James Dixon, Willie Williams, Ralph Edwards & Shirley Cesar. A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
