Emma Jean Jackson, beloved daughter of the late Frank and Daisy Robinson was born in Sasser, Georgia on December 20, 1945.

During the early years of her life, she received her formal education in the Terrell County School System.

Imbued with a strong Christian background, Emma professed her faith and belief in the Lord Jesus Christ at a very early age. She was baptized and received the right hand of fellowship at County Line Missionary Baptist Church. Ms. Jackson remained a faithful member there until her earthly transition. She was united in holy matrimony to Cartha Jackson. Their union stood the test of time and the Jacksons enjoyed 37 memorable years that gifted them two daughters, Sharon and Tandra.

Emma Jackson dedicated 23 years of her life serving the Albany community as a devoted employee of the Albany Housing
Authority. There, she made significant contributions to improving housing accessibility and affordability for countless families.

After retiring from her esteemed position, she embarked on a new chapter as an entrepreneur, fulfilling a lifelong dream of owning and operating "Emma Sandwich Shoppe." Her entrepreneurial spirit and passion for creating delicious meals brought joy to the, hearts of many in the community.

Mrs. Jackson was a kind and generous lady who greeted each day with smile, never met a stranger, and was a remarkable cook. She touched the lives of many in a very special way. You couldn't know her without being inspired by her love and devotion to her family, friends, church, and community.

On February 6, 2024, Mrs. Emma Jean Jackson was called from labor to reward. In addition to her parents and her husband, she
was proceeded in death by her two brothers, Charlie and Sammie Robinson and sister, Annie Holmes.

Loving memories will forever be cherished by her daughters, Sharon Rambo of Albany, GA and Tandra (Rashad) Archie of Minneola, FL; Bonus Son, Donnell (Dot) Johnson; Grandchildren, Jaleesa Jackson of Albany, GA and Emma Archie of Minneola, FL; one great grandson, DeSean Martin of Albany, GA; God sisters, Diana (Joseph) Samuel and Nancy Johnson; Godchildren, Roderick (Lisa) Weaver, Michael Styles, Yolanda Smith, Christy (Carvin) McCoy, Rev. Ronald (Deirdre) Smith. Special Nephews: Richard (Sharease) Jackson, Montreal Robinson, and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
