On November 16, 1946, Emma Robinson was born the ninth child out of ten to the late James Robinson Sr. and Emma Jones Robinson in Leary, GA. She was the youngest daughter of the family, and they showed her unconditional love.  Emma grew up being affectionately called "Dawn" by her family and friends.

Growing up, Emma was a humble and compassionate person who always loved and supported her family in any way that she could.  Even in her adult life she remained the same way.  She was always willing to lend a helping hand to her family whenever they needed her.

Emma attended the public schools of the Calhoun County School System and she graduated from H. T. Singleton High School in 1965.  While in high school, she played the beloved game of basketball which she excelled in tremendously.

After high school, Emma decided to enter the workforce.  She worked several jobs over the years, including Coats and Clark, Torbitt and Castleman, Home Brands, Con Agra and finally Albany Cold Storage, which she retired from in 2008.  She was proud to tell her daughters that she had worked over 40 years on all the jobs combined.

Emma's daughters were her world.  She loved and cared for them to the best of her ability.  Although, they were adults, she still made sure they always had what they needed if she could provide it for them.  She would always tell them to stick together and never part.

In her early years of growing up in Leary, Emma united with Spring Creek Baptist Church.  After relocating to Albany, she eventually decided to unite with Greater Grace COGIC.  She remained in Albany, but she then decided she wanted to bring it back to Leary.  But this time, she united with Mt. Zion of Leary where she has been a loyal and faithful member for almost 30 years until her demise.

Emma shared a special bond with her baby brother, Willie B. "MilK", as he is called by family was her one call that's all.  When she called Milk for whatever reason, her baby brother was coming to see what she needed without hesitation.  She loved him and appreciated everything he did for her day or night.

At. 11:02 a.m. on September 28, 2022, Emma's journey in life came to an end at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Lewis Robinson, Charlie Robinson, James Robinson Jr., Robert Robinson, Ethel Robinson Davenport, Rosa Robinson Shorter, and Irene Robinson Proctor; and her son-in-law, Lyndon Price.

Emma leaves to cherish her love of God and family to her loving, caring, and devoted daughters, LaShonda Price and Sabrina Carswell both of Albany; her brothers, Willie Fred Robinson and Wille B (Frances) Robinson; and her sister-in-law, Atteen Robinson.  She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her Mt. Zion Baptist Church family of Leary.
