Eric D. Jones. 54, turned in his superhero cape for his permanent angel wings on Sunday July 14, 2024. He was born on August 25, 1969, to the late Minnie and Gustavia Jones Jr.

He received his formal education from the local Dougherty County Schools and was a graduate of Dougherty High School. Eric was employed by the Addison Steel Co until his retirement. In his leisure time, Eric loved sports and was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Minnie and Gustavia Jones Jr, grandparents Leila Mae and John D. Robinson(maternal), Odessa and Gustavia Jones Sr.(paternal) and brother Phillip Jones.

Eric leaves to cherish his memories, his daughter, Shakendria Jones-Bodiford; sons, Eric Jones & Devin George; grandchildren, Kamyria Jones and Ka'Mille Bodiford; sisters, Tashanda Carter (Sam), Lawanda James-Green (Xavier), Sharon Walton; brothers, Tim Jones(Pam), Dexter Cladd (Cassandra) and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
