Eric Westley Wright was born January 2, 1970, in Albany, Georgia.  He was the beloved son of Willie and Sharon Wright.

He attended the public schools of Dougherty County and was active in numerous school functions and events. He completed his education at  Flint Hills Job Corps Center in Kansas.

During the early years of his life, Eric began his fellowship with Christ at New Testament Baptist Church.

Eric was united in marriage to Felicia Wright.  Their union was blessed with a beautiful daughter, Erica.

Loving son, dutiful father, caring brother, committed uncle, reliable cousin, and loyal friend; Eric embraced life with open arms.  He was an outgoing individual who was very witty and the life-of-the-crowd.  His engaging personality and gigantic smile captured the attention of everyone around him.  Eric was a conscientious, hardworking "jack-of-all-trades" who utilized his gifts and talents to help others.  He enjoyed being active and especially loved spending quality time with family and friends.  His favorite pastimes included basketball and football.

On September 16, 2020, Eric transitioned from this earthly life to eternal peace and rest.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Willie and Trudy Wright, and Earnest and Fannie Kennebrew.

Fond memories will forever remain with his daughter, Erica Wright of Atlanta, GA; his parents, Willie Wright of Albany, GA and Sharon Wright of Union City, GA; grandchildren, Sherrod Fears and Sherrayah Fears of Atlanta, GA; siblings, Tyrone Wright of Union City, GA and Alonzo (Gail) Wright of Vidalia, GA; numerous aunts,  nieces, and nephews; and a host of cousins, extended family, and friends.
