IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ernestine
Johnson
January 19, 1956 – November 17, 2020
Ernestine Johnson was born in Albany, Georgia on January 19, 1956. She was the daughter of the late David and Alice Mae Albritten.
She received her formal education in the public schools of Dougherty County, graduating from Westover High School. Throughout her school years, she actively participated in several organizations and activities.
At a very early age, Ernestine accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. In 2005, she united with Divine Connections Ministries where she joyfully served on the Praise and Worship Team. She was a faithful servant whose life was alight for many—young and old.
Ernestine was a very independent and devoted mother who had an everlasting love for her children. For numerous years, she was employed at Cagle Keystone Foods in Camilla, Georgia. No matter what the task, she always gave her BEST and stayed the course to ensure that nothing was every left undone.
On Tuesday, November 17, 2020, Ernestine transitioned from this earthly life at the Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. She will be deeply missed by family and friends who loved her dearly.
Loving memories will forever remain with her devoted fiancé, Eddie Salsberry; three caring daughters, Tosha Dean, Shauntay (Alexander) Thomas, and Keshauta Johnson; her brother, David Albritten; grandchildren, Shanteze Sanders, Shauntoria Sanders, Sa'Shun Johnson, Shaquaria Williams, Shimberly Lowe, Nykia Johnson, Shatagia Johnson, Alexicia Johnson, Allante Johnson, TyQwan Johnson, and JaQwan Johnson; great grandchildren, Alencia Johnson, Kyleigh Gutzmore, Aubree Lee, Kimari Springer, and Novah Hayes; a special sister/friend, Veronica Pinkins; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
