IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Eva Pearl
Robinson
December 1, 1928 – October 20, 2020
Eva Pearl Palmer Robinson, third child of the late Charlie and Minnie Palmer, was born in Leary, Georgia on December 1, 1928.
A life-long resident of Leary, she received her formal education in the Calhoun County School System.
Throughout her childhood, Pearl was nurtured in the word of God. At an early age, she accepted Christ as her Savior and united with the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. She was a faithful servant of the Lord and was unwavering in her dedication and service as a Deaconess and member of the Usher Board until her health declined.
Pearl was united in marriage to the love of her life, Charlie "Rut" Robinson. Their union endured for more than 60 years as they honored their vows to love and cherish each other. As a wife and mother of five children, she worked untiringly for many years to provide unconditionally for her family. She was a loyal, committed employee of Coats and Clark who took pride in her work and stayed the course to ensure that no task was ever left undone.
Often described as a kind and good-hearted individual with a spirit of peace, Pearl had an endless reservoir of love for family and friends. She was the sunshine in many hearts and never knew a stranger. Anyone who loved and knew her definitely knew that she was a lady who was true to her word and a well respected neighbor and citizen of Leary. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of being a part of her life.
On Tuesday, October 20, 2020, the Lamb's Book of Life was opened, the trumpet sounded, and Eva Pearl Palmer Robinson was called home to be present with the Lord. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charlie Robinson; three children, Bobby, Willie Dell, and Roger; and five siblings, George (GW), Gertrude, Gladys, Charlie Mae, and Ruth.
She leaves a legacy of love, generosity, and kindness that will forever be cherished by her devoted children, Dianne and Larry of Leary, GA; two grandchildren who were nurtured and cared for as her own, Corey (Deborah) of Albany, GA, and Lamaristic (Juanita) of Leary, GA; siblings, Eugene (Rose) Palmer of Shellman, GA and Wylene of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; brothers-in-law, Willie Fred of Leary, GA, and James (Atteen) and Willie B. (Frances) both of Albany, GA; sister-in-law, Emma of Albany, GA; godson, Joshua Figgins of Leary, GA; five additional grandchildren, Taryll of Albany, GA, TaShayla of Dallas, TX, Tasha of Ft.
