IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Felecia Davis
Moore
May 18, 1962 – December 21, 2020
Felecia Davis Moore was born in Americus, Georgia on May 18, 1962. She was the beloved daughter of the late Walter Lewis Davis, Sr. and Willie Mae Adams Davis.
She was educated in the Lee County School System and was actively involved in numerous school organizations and activities. Believing strongly in life-long learning, Felecia continued her education at South Georgia Technical College where she earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Nursing and, thereafter, was licensed as an LPN.
At an early age she confessed Christ as her Savior and united with the Green Grove Baptist Church of Smithville, Georgia. Feleciai was blessed with the gift of song and utilized her God-given talent to minister in song. Through the years, she remained steadfast, unfaltering, and prayerful in her daily walk.
She was united in holy matrimony to James Moore. They shared a love that endured through the years and a devotion to one another that was strong and unshakeable. As a faithful wife and devoted mother, she ate not the bread of idleness and always sacrificed her needs for the good of her family.
Felecia worked hard to consistently pursue excellence in her nursing career at numerous medical facilities throughout Southwest Georgia. She had a servant's heart and was very conscientious in serving her patients with dignity, respect, and true compassion. She was a shining example of God's love for all mankind and will long be remembered for her unconditional love. Truly, she was an angel here on earth.
On Monday, December 21, 2020, Felecia transitioned from this earthly life at East Alabam Medical Center in Valley, Alabama. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three siblings, Rose Maria Youngblood, Dewayne Davis, and Fernando Davis.
Loving memories will be forever cherished by her devoted husband, James Moore; her children, Reginald L. (Lauren) Ware, Andrea M. Ware, and Carlis A. Moore; granddaughter, Serenity F. Ware; brothers, Walter Davis, Jr., Melvin Davis, Gregory Davis, and Connelton Davis; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
