Obituary

Freddie Leon Barber, beloved son of Reverend Eddie Harvey and Mrs. Rosie Harvey of Albany, Georgia, was born on September 23, 1961, in Fort Gaines, Georgia. He passed away peacefully at his home on September 9, 2018.

At a very early age, he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and united with the Atlanta Bible Church of Decatur, Georgia, under the leadership of Dr. John McNeal. After living in Raleigh, North Carolina for five years, he relocated to Fort Gaines, Georgia and united with Brown Chapel where he remained a member until demise.

Freddie was united in marriage to Caroline Davis. Over the years, he was engaged in numerous employment ventures before becoming disabled. As a son, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, he was diligent in all that he did and was always ready to lend a helping hand. He loved deeply, laughed often, and embraced life with open arms.
