Freddie L.
Williams
April 13, 1947 – September 13, 2023
Freddie L. Williams, son of the late Leroy Williams and Virginia Taylor Williams, was born in Leesburg, Georgia on April 13, 1947.
He received his formal education in the Dougherty County School System where he gained valuable life skills.
In search of greater advancement opportunities, Freddie moved to Tampa, Florida where he met and married Maudine J. "Dino" Williams. Their union was blessed with six loving children.
Over the years, Freddie was engaged in several diverse and rewarding work experiences. While in Tampa, he was a loyal, dedicated employee at OK Tire Company for more than 16 years. Freddie relocated to Albany, Georgia where he joined the ranks of employees at J & R Schugel Trucking Company; and later, at Fleet Masters Express. Throughout his career, his work ethic was unquestionable; he provided superior customer service; and he gave his best at everything he did.
Known for his very caring spirit, Freddie had a big heart for all things in life and found joy in every circumstance. His common logic, wisdom, and keen sense of humor greatly impacted the lives of everyone around him. He laughed often, readily helped others, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him dearly.
On September 13, 2023, Freddie transitioned from this earthly life at Charms Personal Care Home of Albany. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Freddrick Keith; and six siblings, Roy Lee Williams, Sr., Sam Thomas, Mary Rachel, Marie Sherman, Ruthie Mae Albritten, and Ruby Mobley.
