Gloria Ross, beloved daughter of the late Eddie Ross, Sr. and Lucille Stephens, was born in Leesburg, Georgia on June 16, 1942.

During the early years of her life, she received her educational training at the Warren School.

At a very young age, she accepted God's gift of salvation and became a faithful servant.  Gloria was a praying woman who communed daily with the Lord; found great solace in reading her bible and studying the scriptures; and she didn't mind sharing the Word of God wherever she went.

Often described as a very kind, good natured, and generous lady; Gloria was a joy to be around. She was a selfless person who saw the beauty in all things and openly accepted everyone for who they were.  In life, she considered her family and friends to be among her most prized blessings, and delighted in bringing them together in love and harmony. Gloria was an exceptional mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who showered her children with unconditional love.  Her heart was full of compassion, love, praise, and adoration.  She will be missed by all who had the privilege of having her in their lives.  In her leisure, Gloria enjoyed cooking, fishing, watching wrestling, laughing and having fun, and dancing.

On Sunday, March 31, 2019, Gloria transitioned from this earthly life to be with the Lord. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two children; and her grandson, Quavante' M. Ross.

Loving memories will be forever cherished by her children, Sandra R. Ross, Tommie L. Ross, Anita S. Ross, and Kamilah N. Ross; siblings, Eddie Ross, Jr., Virginia Hudson, Eddie Lou Burnett, and Jen Ross; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
