Helen Diane Miller Florence was born in Albany, Ga January 26, 1958. She was the daughter of the late Beauty Mae Clark Brown.

At a early age, Helen was nurtured in the word of God and baptized a Cutliff Grove Baptist Church and later became a member of Turning Point Church , Lead Pastor Joseph Howard where continued to be a servant of Christ.

She was educated in Dougherty County School System and graduated from     Albany High School Class of 1976.

Helen had a love and passion for reading, exercising, music and spending time with family, friends and loved ones.

Helen was an administration assistant with Albany State University Army ROTC for 29 years, retiring in 2020.

She leaves a lifetime of love and memories that will be cherished by her children Jesse (Tory) Lewis Jr, Kawasaki (Coryn) Florence, Karan Florence (Deceased) and Khyro W. Florence (Grandson), Siblings John (Janet)Jackson, Kennedy(Melissa) Miller, Lillie Crawford, Elizabeth McBride, Jessie (Linda)White, Arthur Threatt and a myriad of nieces/nephews and great nieces/nephews .
