IN LOVING MEMORY OF

August 18, 1931 – February 3, 2019
Helen Evelyn Irons, affectionately known as "Homezell," was born to the late William Irons and Lexie Dell "Mama-Gut" Barr-Callicott; but was reared by Forrester "Trixie-Pappi" Callicott (step father) and Lexie Dell "Mama Gut" Barr-Callicott in Union City, Tennessee on August 18, 1931.
Helen met the late Lagusta Kizer, whom she married in 1947 and from that union her five children were born. Several years later Helen accepted another child as her own who was the daughter of Lagusta Kizer. The Kizer family made their home in Tennessee but relocated with family to Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 1956 for a better life.

She loved studying her bible, fellowshipping with her family, and her favorite hobby of all was sewing.
Helen was educated at Miles High School and received her GED later in life in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She was employed with the Broward County School Board as a bus driver, but later became a facilities maintenance technician. She was a gifted seamstress who could look at something one time and could make the exact design. She made countless custom designs for weddings, proms and galas.
