IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Helen Jane
Samuels
August 12, 1941 – March 26, 2019
Helen Jane Samuels, beloved daughter of the late Henry Reid and Margie Pope, was born in Atlanta, Georgia on August 12, 1941.
During the early years of her life, she received her formal education in the public schools of Dougherty County where she was active in various school functions and events.
Helen was raised in a loving home and was taught to love the Lord early in life. After moving to New York, she surrendered to the calling of Christ for a lifetime of Christian stewardship. Strong in her faith and in wisdom, she was later anointed to preach and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ. For many years as she continued her Christian journey as an Evangelist and Prophetess, God's love for all mankind was manifested through her daily walk as she shared the Word of God.
Often described as a very outspoken individual, Helen was also kind, good natured, and generous. She was a selfless person who saw the beauty in all things and accepted everyone for who they were. In life, she considered her family and friends to be among her most prized blessings, and delighted in having them together in love and harmony. She inspired many people with her faith and hope in God; and her dedication and commitment to her family.
On Tuesday, March 26, 2019, Helen transitioned from this earthly life to be with the Lord.
She leaves loving memories that will be forever cherished by her sisters, Missionary Lorene Smith of Virginia Beach, VA, Denise Ezell of Bessemer, AL, and Diane Gaines of Ward, AL; nieces, Evangelist Aletha V. Clyde and Evangelist Sandra Wilson both of Albany, GA; and a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
