The season of life for Henry Gaines III began on September 23, 1989, in Albany, Georgia. He was the youngest child of Patricia Wallace Gaines and the late Henry Gaines, Jr.
He received his formal education in the Dougherty County School System. Throughout school, Henry was a lively, strong-willed young man who was always ready for adventure and actively participated in various student activities and events. He continued his quest for knowledge at Albany Technical College where he received an associate degree.
Henry attended Reflections of Christ Kingdom Church under the leadership of Pastor Michael Chapman.
Affectionate son, super dad, awesome brother, caring uncle, unforgettable cousin, and loyal friend, Henry embraced life with open arms. He had a mind that never ceased questioning, a serious twinkle in his eyes, and a heart that opened freely to family and friends. His love of life and energetic personality attracted many people to him and the bonds of friendship forged throughout his life will long be remembered.
On November24, 2021, transitioned from this earthly life to eternal rest. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his grandparents, Gertrude Shealy Porter, Henry Gaines, Sr., Eddie Mae Baker Wallace, and Butler Wallace, Jr.
Loving memories will forever be cherished by his beloved mother, Patricia Wallace Gaines (Sylvester Eady); his children Haileigh Gaines and Henry "Quad" Gaines IV; two bonus children, Willie Frank Henry and Omari Henry; siblings, Devon (Eugene) Knighton, Brandon (Quatessia) Wallace, and Ronald (Michelle) Wallace; aunts and uncles, Betty Walker, Linda Peterson, Ethel (William) Wright, Carolyn Gaines, Charron Randle, Cynthia (Rickey) Blake, Loretta (Rodney) Moore, Barbara Gaines, Samuel (Barbara) Gaines, and Michael Wallace; great aunt, Alma Jean Davis; Godmother, Tawanda McKinney; pops, Willie "Nick" Gibson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
