IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Henry Mallory,
Jr.
December 5, 1967 – March 26, 2024
Henry Mallory, Jr., son of Annie Mallory and the late Henry Mallory, was born in Leary, Georgia on December 5, 1967
He received his formal education in the Calhoun County School System, graduating from H. T. Singleton High School in 1986. Throughout school, Henry was an energetic young man who gained valuable life skills and actively participated in numerous student-centered activities.
Ready to serve his country after graduation, Henry enlisted in the United States Army where he served with distinction. During his years of active service, he was stationed at various U. S. installations and overseas; received numerous commendations, service ribbons, and awards; and successfully advanced through the military ranks. Upon completion of his tours of duty, he was honorably discharged and returned to civilian life.
Henry's return to civilian life soon found him driving trucks. As a professional driver for various trucking companies, he traveled throughout the United States ensuring that manufactured products, services, and goods were delivered to customers in a timely manner. Henry took pride in his driving skills; always put safety first; and retired after many years of dedicated service.
Family and friends meant the world to Henry and he delighted in spending quality time with them. He was a kind, generous man who greeted each day with a smile and was always "on call" to help anyone in need. Henry had a big heart for all things and was the best father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend that anyone could ever hope for. He will be dearly missed.
On March 26, 2024, Henry transitioned from this earthly life to eternal rest and peace. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, James, Rosa Shorter, Annie Lue Mallory, and Henry Mallory.
Precious memories will forever be cherished by his daughters, Brianna Mallory of El Paso, TX and Jaylan Mallory of Albany, GA; his mother, Annie Mallory; stepfather, Charles Addison; siblings, Eddie (Dorothy) Shorter, Sophia (Antwon) Jaylon, and Kimberly Mallory; aunts, Zemory Hick, Mechell Bell, and Glenda ???; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
