Henry Lee Woods Jr was born April 30, 1957 in Donalsonville, Georgia to the late Henry Lee Woods and Minnie Lee Sampson. He accepted Christ in his youth and attended Midway Missionary Baptist Church in Jakin, Georgia as a member.

He dedicated many decades working in agriculture as a committed employee of K & P Farming Partnership from his teenage years throughout his adulthood until his health began to fail.

His greatest works were accomplished as a father. He and Ellois Tellis birthed and raised two children together. He cared dearly for his children and loved them with such a powerful and unconditional love. He devoted his life to providing a joyous life for his children. He also had a stepson, Curtis Gilbert, whom he cared for and loved.

He enjoyed getting casually dressed to attend church and loved spending time with family. His presence, sense of humor, and bold love will forever be cherished and never forgotten.
