IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Hiawatha S.
Booth
August 7, 1965 – December 29, 2019
The season of life for Hiawatha S. Booth began on August 7, 1965, in Albany, Georgia. She was the first of three children born to Luebertha Smith and the late Harold Smith.
During primary school years, she was educated in the Dougherty County School System. After relocating to Hanau, Germany with her family, she graduated from Hanau High School. In later years, she attended Darton College majoring in Business Administration.
Hiawatha had the great advantage of growing up in a home in which the Lord was feared and worshipped. In 1995, she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and remained a faithful servant until her health declined.
Being a wife and mother was one of Hiawatha's greatest sources of joy and she took great care in creating a home filled with love, guidance, and support. She was an exceptionally conscientious individual whose professional career was diverse, very rewarding, and included employment at the Marine Corps Logistics Base, Toys R Us, and Walmart Supercenter. She worked tirelessly through the years to provide unconditionally for her family.
Hiawatha was a kind-hearted individual who showed love in many ways. She was one of those rare people who always had the interest of others at heart, was selfless, saw the beauty in all things, and accepted everyone for who they were. One of her finest qualities was gratitude. Even in the midst of health challenges and adversities, she was always grateful for everything that came her way. Through it all, she remained strong and created lasting memories that will never been forgotten.
On December 29, 2019 after a courageous battle with breast cancer, Hiawatha's earthly season ended and she was called home to be with our Lord. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Smith.
Wonderful memories will forever be cherished and remembered by her beloved husband, Michael Booth; devoted mother, Luebertha Smith; loving daughter, Marissa (Tevan) Jones; grandchildren, Jordan, Jacen, and Rhyan Jones; siblings, Harold (Kicheka) Smith, Jr. and Kwajalein (Brinson) Mosley; nieces and nephew, Kyla Smith, Amari, Smith, Toyana Mosley, and Keyon Mosley; stepchildren, Sharon Booth and Byron Booth; step-grandchildren, Kentravious, Ketoria, and Kenvonte Booth, Khaliya and Kemarien Butler, Skyler and Tyler Booth, and Jylen Haire; aunts and uncles; special close friends, Patrice Johnson, Betty Allen, Keshia Welch, and Twyla Simmons; a host of cousins and friends; and her fur baby, Bentley.
"Her life was full, she savoured much."
