Inez Forrester Walker was born in Leesburg, Georgia on May 26, 1940.  She was the eldest of seven siblings.

She was educated in the Lee County School System. Throughout school, she was a very considerate young lady with a deep yearning to be of service to others.

Domestic at heart, Inez was a devoted mother, grandmother, and meticulous homemaker.  She took her role seriously and invested much time and skill in caring for her home and  family. Over the years she engaged in numerous work experiences, including cook, seamstress, caregiver, housekeeper, hair stylist for family and friends, and owner of Walker's Cleaning Service. In each work setting, she worked untiringly to ensure that every task was given her utmost attention and completed with extreme care.

Inez believed strongly in family ties and responsibilities. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend who could always be counted on to lend a helping hand.  Anyone who knew her would agree that she was extremely straight-forward, unpretentious, and strong-willed; but she was also caring and generous.  She had a great sense of humor and could always find the silver lining in any situation.

On February 20, 2025, Inez transitioned from this earthly life to eternal peace and rest.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jordan Walker, Sr.; daughter, Cora Walker; grandmother, Mary Ann Richardson; great grandmother, Classie Lee Solomon; siblings, Lewis Forrester, Sr. and Sandra Ann Williams; and her beloved pet and best friend, Sandy.

Loving memories will forever be cherished by her children, Jordan Walker, Jr. (Sharon), Eric Walker (Zandra), and Janice Walker Williams; siblings, Hattie Ann Banks, Classie Forrester, Gale Williams, and Morris Williams (Jacqueline); and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
