Issac Jenkins, Jr. , son of the late Isaac and Pearline Jenkins. was born in Leesburg, Georgia on June 20, 1943.
He received his formal education in the Lee County School System and actively participated in various school organizations and events.
At a very young age, he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. He dearly loved the Lord and remained steadfast throughout his life.
Issac was a very persistent individual whose professional work life was very rewarding. He was employed at Martin Marietta where he was a committed, dedicated, and reliable employee who prided himself in a job well done. No matter what the task, he was always upbeat and ready to tackle anything placed before him. He retired after rendering innumerable years of loyal service. Family and friends meant the world to Issac and he delighted in spending quality time with them. He was a kind, generous man who greeted each day with a smile and was always "on call" to help anyone in need. He had a big heart for all things in life. Isaac was the best father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend that anyone could ever have. He had quiet strength, never complained, and always had an encouraging word to brighten everyone's day. He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of being a part of his life.
