Isiah Rockwell was born in Sylvester, Georgia on July 10, 1950.  He was the beloved son of the late Bennie Lee and Rosa Lee Rockwell.

He received his formal education in the Worth County School System.  Throughout school, he was a very attentive young man who gained a wealth of knowledge from his experiences and activities.

Early in life, Isiah accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior.  He dearly loved the Lord and remained prayerful and steadfast throughout life's journey.

Isiah was united in marriage to Barbara Hodges and they were blessed with a loving and caring family.  He was a devoted husband and father who was energized by hard work and took great pride in completing every task that was placed before him.

Simply a true joy to everyone around him, Isiah loved his family and showed love to a host of friends that he treated like family.  He found joy in every circumstance, relished in the simple things in life, and his jovial attitude left an unforgettable impression on all who knew him.  Memories of his sense of humor, generosity, and tireless support for others will forever be cherished.

On September 7, 2022, Isiah transitioned from this earthly life to eternal peace and rest. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara Hodges Rockwell.

He leaves a lifetime of loving memories that will forever be cherished by his daughter, Patricia Ann Wright; two granddaughters, Ashley Wright Sapp (Willard) and Porsha Wright; great grandchildren, Michael Alexander, Victor Carter, Ashlaney Wright, Shaniquea Wright, Zellana Sapp, Miracle Sapp, Brianna Sapp, and Te'Lizabeth Wright; stepchildren, Robert, Lance, Regina, and Ahmed; siblings, Bennie Lee Rockwell, Willie C. Rockwell, Reverend J. C.  Rockwell (Helen), Sally Mae Rockwell, and Willie Bell West; two special friends, Donna Webb and Lisa Thomas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
