IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Issac "Tony"
Jenkins, Iii
April 30, 1968 – July 27, 2017
He attended the public schools of Lee and Dougherty Counties, graduating in 1988 from Albany High School .
On August 17, 1992, he was united in holy matrimony to his high school sweetheart, Melissa Fay Crews. Their union was blessed with two children, Carlton and Angel, whom they nurtured with patience, discipline, humility, and love. Over the years, Issac was diligent in caring for the needs of his family. He was a loyal and dedicated employee of D and D Woods for more than ten years. He later joined the ranks of workers at Porterfield United Methodist Church where he labored untiringly until his demise. No matter what the task, Issac took great pride in his work.
Having professed his faith and belief in the Lord, Isaac began his Christian walk at the Harvest Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church where he was baptized and received the "right hand of fellowship" into the body of Christ. Isaac was a faithful member of the church and was actively engaged in his duties as an Usher.
"Tony" as he was affectionately called, was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, unfailing brother, caring uncle, and loyal friend who embraced life with open arms. He had an endless reservoir of compassion for his family and friends. He loved life, he loved the Lord, he loved his family and his truck, he loved the world in which he lived, and he loved to work hard and accomplish much. His smile and presence will deeply be missed by all who had the privilege to have known him.
On Thursday, July 27, 2017, Issac's earthly journey ended and he entered into eternal rest. He was preceded in death by his sister, Doretha Jones..
Loving memories will forever be cherished by his beloved wife, Melissa Crews Jenkins; his children, Carlton Kavaski (LaShontae) Jenkins and Angel Fay Jenkins; three grandchildren, JaMarcus Kavaski Jenkins, Jazylin Ja'Marion Jenkins, and Dontravis Marquez Byrd, Jr.; parents, Issac Jenkins, Jr. and Bessie Lee Covin Jenkins; eight siblings, Michael Jenkins of Atlanta, GA, Gary Jenkins, Terry Jenkins, and Keon Phillips of Albany, GA, Annie J. A special dad is hard to find
You, dad, we will forever keep on our mind.
We wished you could be here with us forever
But we will never forget you—not ever.
If dreams weren't dreams, and dreams came true
We wouldn't be here without you.
Distance is one thing that keeps us apart
But dad, you will always remain in our heart.
A special smile, a special face
A special someone we can't replace.
We love you and we always will
You left a void that no one can ever fill.
Love—Carlton and Angel
