IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jacqueline
Price
March 10, 1956 – October 5, 2022
Jacqueline Price was born in Albany, Georgia on March 10, 1956. She was the loving daughter of the late Charlie and Agneal Price.
She received her early childhood and secondary education in the Dougherty County School System. Throughout school, she was a lively, outgoing individual who was a ray of sunshine to teachers, peers, and close friends. Her one-of-a-kind personality attracted a wide circle of people who became the recipients of a long, loving, and lasting friendship.
At a very early age, Jacqueline accepted Christ as her Savior and united with Antioch Baptist Church. She dearly loved the Lord and remained humble throughout life's journey.
Fondly called "Jackie" by friends and "Sandra" by family, Jacqueline was often described as a beautiful, free-spirited individual who put a lot of effort into making others happy. She was extremely resourceful and an expert at getting things done. For many years, she worked untiringly in hospitality services and the construction industry. She was recognized by WALB and the Albany Herald as the first female in construction to play a major role in the remodeling of Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Jacqueline was well respected and endeared by co-workers and supervisors for her work ethic and staunch determination.
Family and friends were her among her greatest cherished gifts. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend who treasured experiences through family gatherings; cherished life-long friendships through the years; and always stood ready to lend a helping hand. Jacqueline enjoyed many things in life—cooking, joking, making others laugh, and spending quality time with all who were so dear to her heart.
On October 05, 2022, Jacqueline/Jackie/Sandra departed this earthly life and entered into eternal rest.
Cherished memories will forever remain in the hearts of her children, Cory Price, Sr. and Amber Price both of Albany, GA; siblings, Sharon Price Greene, Patricia (Adolph) Flewellen, and Lamar Price of Albany, GA, and Dr. Cedric (Will) Masten and Bobby Price both of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Cory Price, Jr., De'Cory Price, Alisha Price, and Aaliyah Price all of Albany, GA; uncles and aunts, JD (Betty) Roberts, Herman (Angela) Roberts, Elizabeth (Reverend Felton) Lamar, and Helen (Joseph) Parker all of Albany, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
