Jartaqaron Duniteo Willis was born in Albany, Georgia on July 5, 1979, to Essierene and Jerome Dwight Willis, Sr.

He received his formal education in the Dougherty County School System, including Monroe Comprehensive High School.  Jarta continued his education at Albany Technical College where he earned a degree in Mechanical Refinishing.

Jarta was united in marriage to Kimberly Marie Jackson.  With this union, two children were born—Kalaiah and Derrien who loved their father dearly.

Fond memories of his laughter and love will forever be cherished by his children, Kalaiah Willis and Derrien Willis of Albany, GA; mother of his children, Kimberly Marie Jackson; his parents, Essierene (Donell) Mathis and Dwight (Donna) Willis of Albany, GA; siblings, Jerome (Tamanica) Willis, Jr. of Atlanta, GA, Dontoris (Quantiesha) Mathis of Albany, GA, Keaith (Marissa) Willis of Woodbridge, VA, Arden "Angela" Hillstrum of California, Jarsheaqua Ervin of Florida, and Keisha Hutchinson of Atlanta, GA; step-sisters and brothers, Lashonda Weston, Lasonya Weston, Donell Weston, and Kiamber Lewis all of Albany, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
