The season of life for Jeffery Bernard Solomon better known as "Knot" began in Moultrie, Georgia on October 15, 1969.  He was the beloved son of Robert Hogan and Alma Solomon.

As he sprouted and grew his family relocated to Sylvester, GA where he attended the public schools of Worth County.

Jeffery was a person of faith, he connected with the Baptist Denomination. He believed in helping others and having a good time.  Those who encountered him often described him as outgoing, friendly, and the "Grill Master."

The season of Jeffery's life ended September 14, 2019, when he transitioned to eternal rest.  He is proceeded in death by his father Robert Hogan, his sister Sonya Solomon, and brother Dennis Solomon.

Fond memories will forever be cherished by his loving children, Zontayvia Solomon Jiles (Cornell) of Misawa, Japan, Jordan Parker and Shawntal Byrd of Albany, Georgia; his devoted mother Alma Solomon of Albany, Georgia; five grandsons; Yamir Jiles and Amar Jiles of Misawa, Japan, Rye'an Ryce- Bryant, Demetrius Eady Jr., and Dominique Bryant Jr. of Albany, Georgia; three siblings, Stephanie Alford of Texas, Paula Solomon McDonald (Ken) and Rodney Solomon of both Albany, Georgia; a beloved aunt and uncle, Annie Ruth Solomon and Barney Solomon both of Albany, Georgia; a close cousin Reginald "Nan the Goat" Alford; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
