IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jeffrey Bernard
Holsey
May 16, 1989 – May 11, 2022
Jeffrey Bernard Holsey Sr. was born in Albany, Georgia on May 16, 1989. He was the beloved son of Fred Holsey Sr. and Sandra Pace Holsey.
He was educated in the Dougherty County School System, graduating from Monroe Comprehensive High School in 2007. He continued his education at Albany Technical College and later at Darton College where he gained valuable technical knowledge, skills, and proficiencies.
At an early age, Jeffrey accepted Christ as his personal Savior. He united with Christ Harvest Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church under
the leadership of Pastor B. L. Richardson and remained humble throughout life's journey.
For numerous years, Jeffery took pride in the services that he provided as an employee of Mediacom and Sam's Club. He was a persistent, conscientious worker who gave his very best---no matter what the task. As a precocious young boy, he developed a reputation as a jokester and
prankster that followed him well into adulthood. His charm and funloving personality captured the attention and hearts of everyone around
him. When in his presence, there was never a dull moment and he could always find the silver lining in any situation. Jeffrey was an incredible son, brother, uncle, nephew, and most importantly—father.
He loved his family dearly and would do anything in his power to help them. Cooking was an integral part of his life. Oftentimes, he could be found hovering over a grill, trying new seasonings, and preparing "over the top" grilled delights.
On May 11, 2022, God answered his humble cry and released the Angel of Death to deliver Jeffrey from the cares, concerns and pains of the world. He was preceded in death by his devoted grandparents, Member Holsey Sr., Minnie Holsey, Ulysses Pace Sr., and Ella Jean Pace.
He leaves fond memories that will forever be cherished by his children, My'Yauna Holsey, Jeleah Holsey, Jeffrey Holsey Jr. , Kimiya Holsey and Kimori Holsey; his parents, Sandra Pace Holsey and Fred Holsey, Sr.; brother, Fred Holsey Jr. (Nicole); two nieces, Che'Niyah Holsey and Jania Holsey; aunts and uncles; special friends, Duane Johnson Jr., Sean Laster, and James Murray; Tony Scott and a host of cousins, extended family, and friends.
