IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jeffrey
Wallace
January 19, 1964 – June 19, 2021
Jeffrey Wallace was born on January 19, 1964, in Gastonia, North Carolina. He was the beloved son of the late Marvin Wallace and Martha Adams Wallace.
He received his formal education in the Gaston County School System. Throughout school, he excelled while actively participating in various student organizations and activities.
At a very young age, Jeffrey accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. He was steadfast in his service, remained prayerful, and diligently attended Eureka Baptist Church. Having been blessed with the gift of song early in life, Jeffrey's love for singing escalated during his seasoned years. He was exceptionally talented and utilized his voice to minister in song with the "Singing Disciples of Albany" for 17 years. Their singing was intense, their message was powerful, and he gave his all to the Glory of God.
Jeffrey was united in marriage to his beloved Bernice Harris for 15 years. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a great provider for his family. For over 30 years, he worked untiringly at numerous warehouse facilities and food establishments, including Texas Steak House, United Distributors, and Warehouse Package Store. He was a loyal, dedicated employee who always gave his BEST and was highly regarded by his supervisors and co-workers. In his leisure, he enjoyed sports and was a diehard Carolina Panthers football and University of North Carolina basketball fan.
On June 19, 2021, Jeffrey transitioned from this earthly life to eternal rest and peace. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by seven siblings, Barbara Wallace, Rosa Floyd, Judy Adams, James Adams, Donald Wallace, Johnnie Wallace, and Marvin Wallace; father-in-law, B. J. Harris, Sr.; and his stepdaughter, Peggy Harris.
