Brother Jessie Washington was born on July 17, 1957 in Acree, Georgia to the late Deacon Willie Washington and the late Mrs. Annie Lee Evans-Washington. Jesse was educated in the Dougherty County School System. The vines of his life were rooted in Acree, Georgia and Dougherty County, Georgia. At an early age, Jesse received Christ and was baptized. He later became a member of Bible Way Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Sammie Pringle, Sr. Brother Washington was a self employed contractor in masonry, stucco, stone and painting for many years. On August 28, 1997, Jessie entered into Holy Matrimony with the love of his life, Valerie Walker. Jessie departed this life on April 20, 2018 at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida.

The legacy of his life is left to his devoted wife: Valerie Washington, Children: Trentavious Washington, La'Mattia Hall and Jessica Washington. Brothers: JW (Chiquita) Evans and Pastor Willie (Dorothy) Washington, Sr. Sisters: Rosie Coleman, Annie B. Smith,and Mary Blakely. Father and Mother-in-law: Raymond and Mary Alice Walker, Sr. Sister-in-laws: Vernita Shaw, Phyllis (Roderick) Weaver and Greta Walker. Brother-in-laws: Kelvin Walker, Raymond (Barbara) Walker and Gregory (Benita) Walker, Jr. Grandkids: Ka'Niyah Fox, Na'teazia Walker, Blessing Walker, Armani Coleman, Zy'ta Johnson, and ZyKari Johnson. A host of family and friends.
