Obituary

Jimmy Tromaine Jackson, the son of Angela Jackson and Kenneth Wilson, was born in Albany, Georgia on May 15, 1981.

He was educated in the public schools of Dougherty and Lee County School Systems where he was an avid sportsman with special interest in basketball. As a youngster, he played little league football with the Albany City League.

At the age of twelve, Jimmy surrendered his life to Christ. He was baptized and united with the 2nd Kiokee Missionary Baptist Church of Arlington, Georgia.

Jimmy was a "sparkplug" as a little child. He had a wonderful spirit and it was hard to keep him pinned down. During his adult life, he had a mind that never ceased questioning, a serious twinkle in his eyes, a fearless and adventurous spirit, and a heart that opened freely to his family and friends. One of the things that he loved most was spending time with his daughter whom he dearly loved.

The close of life's earthly journey for Jimmy has left a void in the hearts of family and friends. He had a good heart—that's how he will be remembered. Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Deloris Terry, Johnny Jackson, and Pete Williams; and his great grandparents, Reverend Charlie and Elizabeth Green, Robert and Essie Higdon, and Mell Jackson.

Loving memories will forever be cherished by his daughter, Feodora Janaizha Thomas (mother, Brittany Thomas) of Albany, GA; his parents, Angela and Freddie Williams, and Kenneth Wilson all of Albany, GA; seven siblings, Brittney Williams, Jessica Carter and Antoine Williams of Albany, GA, AB Antonio Williams of Lackland AFB, TX, Craig (Sheneaka) Jones of Edison, GA, Keante (Jennifer) Green of Killeen, TX, and Shawn Chandler of Miami, FL; grandparents, Gloristine Higdon and Willie Mae Jackson of Miami, FL, Ruth Williams of Arlington, GA, and Willie Jay (Connie) Brown and James Terry of Albany, GA; great grandmother, Loretha Wilson of Bainbridge, GA; a special nephew, Christopher Sumbry, Jr.; godmother, Gemevia Tanner of Atlanta, GA; a very close and special friend, Johnuel Covin of Vilseck, Germany; loyal and trusted cousin and friend, LaMarcus (Natalie) Molden of Langley AFB, Hampton, VA; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
