Ms. Johnnie Mae (BIG MA) Ford was born February 20, 1955 in Leesburg, Georgia to late the James Lewis and Nell Reen Kimbrough-Ford. Later she was adopted by the late Nancy Profit of Leesburg, Georgia. She received her wings on Monday, June 3, 2019. She was preceded in death by her Aunt the late Johnnie Lois Kimbrough and Sister Brenda Lee West as she entered her heavenly place of rest.
At an early age Johnnie Mae accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior Christ. She received education from Lee County High School. She had a passion of sharing love so later in life she became a caregiver at DMR Personal Care Home. She was a great nurturer and loved children from all over. Over her lifetime, she took care of so many children from diapers up to adults. Johnnie Mae favorite hobby was baking and sharing cakes. We will miss her for all the love she gave us here.
Johnnie Mae leaves cherished memories with her five loving children. Four daughters Latressa Ford Richardson, Y-teela and Sabriecka Ford of Albany, Georgia and Resheka Ford of Tallahassee,Florida and one son Tardavious Ford. Two loving Sisters Mary Baidsen and Elizabeth West of Albany, Georgia. One loving brother Ernest Ford (Linda Ford) of Decatur, GA. She leaves 17 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Two dedicated cousin Thelma (Pork chop) Cutts and Vernon McCary-Brown. A loving God-mother Mable Jenkins, a loving God-daughter Judy Winston and host of family and friends.
