Obituary

Mack Jordan was born in Albany, Georgia on September 18, 1957.  He was loving son of the late John Mark Jordan and Shelby Jean Jones Jordan.

He received his formal education in the Dougherty County School System.  Throughout school, he participated in various student activities and events.

As a child, Johnny regularly attended church with his family.  Later in adulthood, he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and remained humble and prayerful throughout life's journey.

In 1977, Johnny met the love of his life, Judy Henry.  They shared a love and extensive courtship that new no boundaries and ultimately resulted in marriage.  Johnny was a loving  husband, a dedicated   father, and a great provider for his family.  He was a loyal, dedicated employee at Palmyra Nursing Home for many years and worked untiringly to ensure that no task was ever left undone.

Affectionately called "Mane" by family and friends, Johnny was a  caring person who touched many lives and was known for his humorous, loving, and supportive personality.  He dearly loved his family and circle of friends and took great pride in being an all around "good guy'.   Johnny was a great conversationalist with the unique ability to draw people towards him.  Those who knew him also knew that he was a man of his word and a friend you could always count on.  His smile, thoughtfulness, and humble spirit will long be remembered by all who were so dear to him.

On September 14, 2021, Johnny transitioned from this earthly life to eternal peace and rest with the Lord.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two younger brothers, Conrad Lance  Jordan and Johnny Clinton Jordan.

Loving memories will forever be cherished by his beloved wife, Judy Henry Jordan of Albany, GA; his children, Roderick Johntae Jordan, Terrance Jordan, Vedric Jordan, and Xavier Jordan all of Albany, GA; three siblings, Willie Jordan, Emma Jordan Harris, and Tonya Hargrove all of Albany, GA; mother-in-law, Helen Henry of Albany, GA; four sisters-in-law, Janice Jordan, Jennifer Whitehead, Carolyn Shelton, and Regina Parton all of Albany, GA; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles; and a host of cousins, extended family, and friends.
