Obituary

Johnny Williams, beloved son of the late Frank Williams and Lula Mae Williams, was born in Camilla, Georgia on December 6, 1935.

After relocating to Albany, Georgia with his parents, he received his formal education in the Dougherty County School System.

Johnny was united in marriage to the love of his life, Mary Roberts.  Together, they created a home filled with love and strong family values.  He was a devoted husband and father who took great care in providing for his family through his employment as a professional painter.  Not only did he take great pride in his work, but he truly relished the friends that he made throughout his employment.  His expertise in the industry, creative abilities, and work ethics yielded him the reputation of being "top notch" in his field throughout Southwest Georgia.

Known for his very caring spirit, Johnny had a big heart for all things in life and found  joy in every circumstance.  He was known for his common logic and wisdom , his quirky sense of humor, and many phrases and sayings that were unique just to him.  He laughed often, readily helped others, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  He will be missed by all who knew  and loved him dearly.

On May 14, 2023, Johnny transitioned from this earthly life to eternal peace and rest.

Precious memories will forever remain with his devoted wife, Mary Roberts Williams of Albany, GA; his children, Debbie Williams of Valdosta, GA, Dedra Hazley of Jacksonville, FL, and Shebrica Williams and Cortez Hanes both of Albany, GA; and a host of grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
