IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Judy
Wilson
April 28, 1961 – July 16, 2022
Judy Wilson was born in Mitchell County, Georgia on April 18, 1961. She was the beloved daughter of Elizabeth Quimby and the late George Wilson.
She was educated in the Miami Dade and Mitchell County Public School Systems. Throughout school, she was a vibrant, inquisitive young lady who garnered much from her educational experiences.
Very early in life, Judy accepted Christ as her Savior. She was a dedicated member of St. James Missionary Baptist Church where she faithfully blended her voice in the choir to minister in song until her health declined. Her faith and trust in God kept her spiritually strong and allowed her to be a shining example of humility and respect for all mankind.
Judy was known to be energetic, loving, compassionate, and detail oriented. She was a kindhearted individual who often put the needs of others before her own and truly enjoyed the fellowship of family and friends. She will be remembered for her smile that lighted up a room, her attitude that enable her to have an enjoyable time anywhere, and her one-of-a-kind personality that captured the hearts of those around her.
On July 16, 2022, Judy quietly transitioned from this earthly life. Although her departure leaves a void, we have the great assurance that "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord."
Loving memories will forever be cherished by her mother, Elizabeth Quimby of Baconton, GA; two brother, Lafritz (Maple) Quimby of Camilla, GA and Michael (Latricia) Wilson of Albany, GA; aunts, Dorothy Lyons of Baconton, GA and Lilliam Toombs of Miami, FL; nephew, Jamie Qimby of Camilla, GA; two special friends, Sara Mitchell and Elizabeth Williams of Baconton, GA; and a host of cousins, extended family, and friends.
