IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Juronica Hill-
Hall
January 28, 1973 – March 14, 2025
Juronica Mashay Hill-Hall was born to the late Velma Delores Peterson and James Hill on January 28, 1973, in Albany, Georgia. She was educated in the Dougherty County public school system, and was a graduate of Westover High School, class of 1992.
Juronica Hill-Hall, at an early age, gave her life to Christ and first joined the Oakie Hill Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. John David Bolden. She later moved her membership and united with EEI Ministries under the leadership of Dr. Lawrence Floyd, where she remained faithful until her untimely demise. Juronica was a devoted church member who loved the Lord and made it known to her children and family and all who came to know her.
Juronica was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and auntie. She had a way of drawing everyone into her kind spirit. Family and friends were most important in her life. Love was the gift she shared with all who came to know her.
She was employed for over ten years as a head cake decorator in the bakery at Publix supermarket. Due to declining health issues, she was forced to retire. However, her passion for baking expanded as she started her own in-home bakery. Juronica continued baking sweets in the comfort of her own kitchen for family, friends, and loved ones throughout the community. Her love for family and friends was so sweetly shared through all her cakes, brownies, pastries, and other delicious treats. She catered for many weddings, parties, cookouts, reunions, and other special occasions. Because of her unwavering baking skills, and the love she poured into each and every morsel, she became affectionately known as "Ms. Cakelady".
On March 14, 2025, Juronica transitioned peacefully to her heavenly and eternal resting place. She fought a good fight through some difficult years, mostly while rolling around in her custom-made wheelchair in the comfort of her kitchen.
Juronica's legacy will forever be cherished in the lives of: her loving and devoted children, a daughter, McCourtney Hill, a son, Jawoski Hill, a step-daughter, Jasmine Hall, and a devoted and special friend of 19 years, Jessie Morris. 4 grandchildren, Ja'Varriyon Gordon, Jurnee Johnson, Michaela Bentley, and Kaisyn Davis ; a sister, Lastacia Peterson; a brother, Hiram Peterson and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Her love and laughter will live on forever. The legacy of her life is filled with wonderful memories that will be cherished forever!
