Obituary

A Time to Be Born: Justice A'mari Mairel was born in Albany, Georgia on January 31, 2014, to Jaukiel Seay and Clinton Mairel. As she sprouted and grew, she was nurtured and cared for by her mother and Joshua Jackson.

A Time to Learn: Justice began her educational journey in the Dougherty County School System. After relocating to the Atlanta, Georgia area, she attended Tussahaw Elementary School in Henry County. She was an active, high-spirited, engaged, and inquisitive student who always wanted to understand how things worked. She was a sheer joy to teachers and fellow students.

A Time to Serve: At a very early age, she professed her faith and belief in Christ Jesus. Justice dearly loved the Lord and knew without a doubt that Jesus loved her.

A Time to Love: and Cherish: Justice was the sunshine in many hearts and never knew a stranger. She was outgoing and caring, had a profound love for her family and friends, and she had a strong will to overcome any obstacle in life that handed to her. She was blessed to have enjoyed many fun-filled family outings and gatherings; loved dancing, cheering, and making Tik-Tok videos; and treasured playing with her siblings. Justice was the kind of person that anyone would be proud to call daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousins, and friend. She was an angel on earth who left an unforgettable impression on the hearts of everyone who loved her dearly.

A Time to Depart: On March 11, 2023, the season of life for Justice ended as she closed her eyes and took flight to her heavenly home. Her departure leaves a void that will be difficult to fill, but it serves as a reminder to treasure each moment that we have with those we hold dear. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Louise Seay and Cheryl Lane; and her uncle, Wontonia Hall, Jr.

A Time to Mourn: She leaves to mourn her passing and cherish her beautiful life, her mother, Jaukiel Seay; siblings, Jalen Seay, Christopher Blocker, Journee Seay, Jaylah Jones, and Brianna Battle; grandparents, Jackie (Desi) Seay, Wontonia Hall, Sr., Kawanda Jones, and Ronald Johnson; her godmother, Azhia (Scott) Johnson; aunts and uncle, Lakeshia Charles, Sharmaine Hall, Porsha Toomer, Tynisha Jones, and Shuntavious Seay; great aunts and uncles, Yalonda (Clarence) McIntosh, Cassandra Lane, Denise Lane, Daniel Douglas, Jr., and Anthony Seay; great-great aunts and uncles, Jeanette Alston, Annette Allen, Willie F. Seay, and Mark Burris; her best friend, Brynlee Amos; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
