Justin Jerrod Hodges, son of the late Mattie Mae Troutman Hodges, was born December 25, 1980, in Albany, Georgia.

He was educated in the public schools of Dougherty County.  Throughout school, Justin was a lively, strong-willed young man who was always ready for adventure and looked forward to participating in various student activities and events.

A very free-spirited individual, Justin lived life boldly and bravely walked to the beat of his own drum.  Anyone who knew him would agree that he was extremely straightforward, unpretentious, and stood up for what he believed in.  When in the company of family and friends, he was always the "life of the crowd."  His sense of humor and laughter kept his family on their toes and captured the attention of everyone around him.  He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him dearly.

On October 15, 2021, Justin transitioned from this earthly life to his eternal home.  In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, Marcus Hodges

Loving memories will forever be cherished by his brothers, Fred Hodges and Willie Hodges both of Albany, GA; his aunt, Linda Lamar of Lithonia, GA; two very close friends, Anthony Rollins and Clifford Singleton; his "sister in heart," Sabrina Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
