Mrs. Katie C. Johnson, age 96, of Dougherty County, passed away peacefully the morning of February 7, 2024. Committed to the education of children, Katie dedicated 70 years of her life to God's lambs -- 38 years of teaching in various school systems and 32 years as Director of Lamb Shelter Day Care. Following retirement at the age of 92, she remained an active member of Emanuel Seventh-day Adventist Church.
