Kawoski Antonio Newberry, son of Tamonica Sims and Tony Newberry, was born in Albany, Georgia on January 7, 1999.

He received his formal education in the Dougherty County School System.

Kawoski was a very enthusiastic and outgoing individual.  When in the company of family and friends, he was always the life of the crowd.  His sense of humor and laughter kept his family on their toes and captured the attention of everyone around him..  He had a special love for family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them.  He loved deeply, laughed often, and lived with an intense energy.  Although his life here was tragically cut short, he impacted and attracted many to him with his memorable personality.  He was a one-of-a-kind son, grandson, father, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend who will be deeply missed.

The season of life for Kawoski ended on August 14, 2019, as a result of gun violence. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Laavia Faye Sims; and great aunts, Rosetta Sims, Alice Simons, and Annie Ruth Eady Jackson.

He leaves to mourn his death, but celebrate fond memories his son, Dalton Ross; loving parents, Tamonica D. Sims and Tony Newberry; siblings, Tyeshia Newberry, Ty'Keshia Newberry, Antaza Sims, Na'Quanice Carter, and Quintravion Carter; grandmother, Josephine Newberry; aunts and uncles, Denotra Martin, Melvin Sims, Jacoby Sims, Latoya Sims; Bernice Spurlin, Annie Pearl Spurlin, Jimmie Lee Sims, Piscilla Eady, Angela Eady Threadgill, Jacob Eady, Benjamin Eady, Jr., and Estelle Butler; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
