Obituary

Kenneth Montreal Ware was born in Albany, Georgia on April 18, 1986.  He was the beloved son of Kenneth W. Ware and Elizabeth Walls.

He was educated in the Dougherty County School System, including Dougherty Comprehensive High School.  As a child, Kenneth dreamed of becoming an NBA star and began to push himself daily with the ultimate goal of becoming a multi-talented, outstanding athlete.  His physical talent and natural ability could be seen from the moment he picked up basketball or walked onto a football field.  While at Dougherty, he was an amazing football player; but his love for basketball proved to be his greatest asset.  Known for his soft jump shot, his tenacious rebounding, and his powerful style of play, Kenneth was formidable on the court and one of the best "Trojan" players of all times.  After graduation in 2005, he attended Troy University where he received a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. Throughout his junior high, high school, college, and semi-pro league basketball years, Kenneth was always very coachable, a team leader that would do anything to help his teammates become better players, and a ferocious competitor.

As a young man, he accepted Christ as his Savior.  He dearly loved the Lord and remained an humble servant in his daily walk.

Kenneth's work ethics developed early as he worked alongside his mother at the Greyhound Bus Station.  In later years he engaged in diverse work experiences at Walmart, Miller-Coors, and M&M Mars to provide for his children and ensure that they felt the love that he carried for them in his heart.

Kenneth was a great guy—someone who owned the room with his personality, smile, and joy.  People gravitated to him.  Yes, he was an exceptional athlete, but he was a better person, a better father, a  better son, a better brother, a better nephew and uncle, and a better friend who always made others better on and off the court.  He was a special person who cared deeply about others.  Kenneth shared many holidays, cookouts, and memorable moments with family and friends that will forever be remembered and cherished.

On May 31, 2022, Kenneth faced the sunset of his earthly life.  He leaves an unmatched footprint in the hearts and minds of those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Kenneth's wonderful and loving memories will forever remain in the hearts of his parents, Kenneth W. ( Juanda ) Ware and Elizabeth Walls;  his children, Quincy Odom, Kaden Ware, and Kenmorah Styles; siblings, Demario( Tiffayne ) Williams, Katuria Ware, Kentravious Ware, Kentavious Ware, Danquavious Harper, Kevoski Ware, Kenessa Ware-West (Jermaine), Kiara Ware (Tony Green), Kenneth W. (Kiana) Ware, Jr., Alisha Pace (Roderick), Damesha Walls, William Milledge, Juwuan Walls, and Janterria Walls; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
