Kentavious Sherrod Martin was born September 21, 1990, in Albany, Georgia.  He was the beloved son of Bessie Lewis and Michael Martin.

He received his formal education in the Dougherty County and Leon County School Systems.

"Scoop," as he was fondly called, was a very enthusiastic and outgoing individual. He was free-spirited, the sunshine in many hearts, and oftentimes the life of the crowd.  His sense of humor and one-of--a-kind personality kept family and friends on their toes and captured the attention of everyone around him.  Scoop was a loving son, devoted father, caring brother, nurturing uncle, committed nephew, cherished cousin, and loyal friend.  He believed deeply in unconditional love, treasured spending time with family and friends, and delighted in helping others.  He was a respectful young man who greeted everyone with "sir" or "ma'am" regardless of age, ethnicity, or circumstance.  His love of music and dancing, his friendship, and his gigantic smile will always be remembered.

On May 30, 2020, Kentavious transitioned from this earthly life to eternal rest.   He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Johnny Will Martin and James Lewis.

Fond memories will forever remain in the hearts of his parents, Michael Martin and Bessie Lewis (Brandon Beasley); his children,     Kentavious Martin, Jr., Sha'Kayla Martin, Keyshawn Martin, and Zakhia Martin; grandparents, Lucille Wright and Juanita (Willie B.) Sanders; siblings, Quentrell Green, Tarvorris Brownlee, Credrick Brownlee, Lorenzo Brownlee, Michael Giovonti Martin, Michael Ramond Martin, Jarvis Mosley, Jai'Quille Martin, Laketa Basiden, aekia Brownlee, Lashondreka Barney, Constino Milledge, Tai'Keira Martin, Alexus Warner, Taylor Towns, Alexis Walker, Karia Walker, and Tiana Martin; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
