Obituary

The life of a beautiful princess, Keyairra Lashon Johnson, began on September 8, 2004, in Albany, Georgia.  She was the beloved daughter of Kaleena Brownlee and Natranza Johnson.

As she blossomed and grew, she started her educational journey at Friendship Daycare.  Keyairra was a very active and high-spirited preschooler with a beaming temperament that was a ray of sunshine to everyone around her.  She received her early childhood and secondary education in the pubic schools of Dougherty County, including West Town and Northside Elementary, Albany Middle, and Dougherty Comprehensive High.  Keyairra enjoyed singing, dancing, and being a part of structured activities all of which spilled over into her  participation in the chorus and  Junior ROTC.

During her early years, "Princess Keyairra" professed her faith and belief in Christ Jesus and united with Friendship Baptist Church under the guidance of the late Reverend Dr. H. B. Johnson.  She dearly loved the Lord and had no problem letting the world know that Jesus was her Savior.

Family and friends were amount Keyairra's greatest cherished gifts.  She was outgoing and caring, had a profound love for her siblings, treasured time spent with friends, and ad a strong will to overcome any obstacle in life that was handed to her.  She was blessed to have enjoyed family outings, gatherings,  and vacations where she oftentimes basked in the sun at the beach.  Her enthusiasm and exuberance were contagious—she was the kind of person that anyone would be proud to call daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend.

On June 1, 2022, the season of life for "Princess Keyairra" ended as she closed her eyes and took flight to her heavenly home to receive her crown.  Her departure leaves a void that may be difficult to fill, but it serves as a reminder to treasure each moment that we have with those we hold dear.

Keyairra's beautiful life will forever be cherished and remembered by her parents, Kaleena Brownlee and Natranza Johnson; her bonus dad, Luther Garland; siblings, Taniqua, Myesha, Yasmine, Kourney, Natalia, Natranza Jr., Naythan, Roosevelt, and Nehemiah; grandparents, Laura, Leonard, Stanley, Brenda, and Deborah; a very special niece, Harmonee; and a hoist of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
