Obituary

The season of life for Keyaunte T. Stephens began in Albany, Georgia on September 9,2001. He was the son of Germaine Stephens and Shenika Mobley.

He received his formal education in the public schools of Dougherty County and participated in various school functions and activities.

At a very early age, Keyaunte accepted Christ as his Savior and united with New Direction Christian Church under the leadership of the late Chief Apostle Izell Williams, Jr.

Keyaunte was a car enthusiast who loved working on anything with a motor. Although largely self-taught, he was very good at his job as a mechanic. Once he learned something, he mastered it and utilized those skills to meet the needs of his customers.

A very outgoing individual, Keyaunte lived life boldly and with intense energy. He was free-spirited, strong willed, and often times the life of the crowd. One of his greatest joys was spending time with family and friends. His love of life, sense of humor and laughter, and energetic personality attracted many people to him, and kept them on their toes. He created unforgettable memories that will forever be remembered.

On December 6, 2023, Keyaunte faced the sunset of his earthly season and entered into eternal rest. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Chris George and Martha George; great grandparents, Marsharine Buchannon, Irvin Buchannon, Sr., Alvester McCoy, Maggie Lee Stephens, Minnie Bell McClain, and Jons Henri Gaint.

He is survived by his parents, Shenika (Cedrick Sr.) Mobley and Germaine Stephens; his unborn son, Kylyn Tre'Shaun Stephens; godson, Jamirus Ousley; siblings, Nykurria Hudson, Germaine Hudson, Fred Kaylor, Cedrick Mobley, Jr., and Rayshaun Mobley; grandparents, Erma Price, Willie Price, Sam Stephens, Lena Mae Mobley, and Minnie Mathis; nieces, R'money Scott, Kailee Young, and Jariya Wilson; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
