IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kim Humphrey
King
November 16, 1963 – July 30, 2017
After her family moved to Albany, Georgia where she resided most of her life, she attended the public schools of Dougherty County, including Albany High School.
She was united in holy matrimony to J. M. King. Kim was a devoted wife and mother who diligently cared for the needs of her family. She was employed as a Taxi Driver for Harlem, Albany, and Friendly Cab Companies for numerous years. She took pride in ensuring that her clients arrived at their destination safely and in a timely manner.
Kim was a very kind and gentle-hearted person who embraced life's experiences with open arms. She believed deeply in unconditional love, enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and delighted in helping others—never asking anything in return. Like a bright star, Kim had a gigantic smile that could light up a room and bring joy and laughter to everyone around her. The strong bonds of friendship that she developed through the years will forever be cherished and remembered. In her free time, she enjoyed watching movies.
On Sunday, July 30, 2017, Kim answered her final call and quietly entered into eternal rest. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, J. M. King.
She leaves to mourn her passing and cherish fond memories a devoted son, Myron D. Humphrey; her loving mother, Gail P. Humphrey; four siblings, Dawud (Mary) Humphrey, Florence Humphrey, Billy (Veronica) Humphrey, and Gail Christopher; numerous aunts and uncles; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
