IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lakcita Shanique
Holman
November 9, 1974 – June 11, 2021
The season of life for Lakcita Shanique Holman began in Albany, Georgia on November 9, 1974. She was the beloved daughter of Essie Lee Johnson Holman and the late Johnny Charles Holman.
She was educated in the Dougherty County School System, including Dougherty Comprehensive High School. While at Dougherty, she was very active in various student activities and an extremely enthusiastic and energetic "Trojan."
Lakcita was raised in a loving home and was taught to love the Lord at a very early age. As a youth, she accepted Christ as her Savior and united with New Saint Stephens Baptist Church. Throughout life's season, she remained humble and prayerful.
"Kiki, as she was endearingly called, garnered much from her experiences and embraced life with open arms. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who had a quiet strength, never complained, always had a smile, and constantly sacrificed her needs for the good of her family. Lakcita had a big heart, gave of herself freely, loved unconditionally, and eagerly supported her children and grandchildren in all of their activities. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and loyal friend who noticed the beauty in all things and the good in everyone. Her glowing personality will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Facing the sunset of her earthly season, Lakcita transitioned to eternal rest. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her brother, Contravious Holman; grandparents; two uncles; and three aunts.
Joyful memories will forever be cherished by her loving mother, Essie Lee Johnson Holman; five children, Bequeicha Holman (Kwasekuis Daniels, Sr.), Lakezja Price (Roddrick Daniels), Infinitra S. Holman (Antonio Walters, Jr.), Vicellous B. Holman, and Nautica N. Holman Jones (Quentin Jones) all of Albany, GA; grandchildren, Jaidyn, Kanizja, Jamell, Rodrianna, Emani, Isaiah, Rihanna, Skylar, Sekani, and Cali Holman all of Albany, GA; siblings, Tommy Johnson, Antionette Johnson (Marvin Thomas), Ricky Johnson, Johnny Charles Holman, Jr., Javarious Holman (Brittany Nelson), and Felix Hall, Jr. all of Albany, GA, and Alexander Holman (Ivey) of Griffin, GA; sister-in-law, Nakesha B. Holman; aunts and uncles, Betty McAfee, Willie Mae Dorsey, Jacquelyn Hall, Willie H. Johnson, Jr., and Tommy Hightower; a devoted friend, Michael Griffin; special sister/cousin, Emonica Johnson, very special friends, Felecia Walters, Lashaunda Thompson, and Sherita Clark; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
