Latosha Denise Almond, daughter of Teresa Laster and Oscar Almond, was born in Camilla, Georgia on March 20, 1978.

She received her formal education in the Pelham City School System and Cornerstone Christian Academy. She continued her education at Turner Job Corps Center in the area of Safety and Security.

Very early in life, Latosha accepted Christ as her personal Savior and began her journey with the Lord.  She was an faithful member of Fresh Wind Ministries of Pelham, Georgia under the leadership of Pastor/Apostle Albert and Evelyn Spivie.

Latosha was an extremely conscientious, hardworking individual who gave her best at whatever she did.  For more than 10 years, she was a loyal and dedicated employee of Sanderson Farms in Moultrie, Georgia.  No matter what the task, she worked diligently to ensure that nothing was left undone.  In later years, she joined the ranks of employees at Florida Linen where she labored untiringly and held fast to her belief that work is honorable.

"Tosha," as she was affectionately called, was a good-hearted individual with an endless reservoir of love for her family and friends.  She had a spirit of sunshine, humor, and laughter that could be felt by everyone around her.  Often described as an energetic, strong-willed individual, Tosha was the kind of person that anyone would be proud to call daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, or friend.  The strong bonds of love and friendship that she developed through the years will forever be cherished and remembered.

On July 15, 2020, Latosha quietly transitioned to eternal rest.  Her departure leaves a void in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to have been a part of her life.

She leaves loving memories that will forever remain with her parents, Teresa Laster and Oscar Almond; grandmother, Lillie Bodiford; siblings, Lester Laster, Oscar Almond, Jr., Dedric Almond, Dimp Almond, Rosalynn Almond, Shaundrika Taylor, Eremah Tolbert, Vontresia Almond, Madondra Almond, Jerome Isom, and Calvin Clark; godparents, Aretha (Jimmy) Maddox; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
