Obituary

Life's journey for Lear Robinson Gibson Mack began on July 1, 1946 in Leesburg, Georgia.  She was the beloved daughter of the late Ben Robinson and Bernice Gibson.  She was nurtured and cared for in the loving home of the late Floyd and Lula Bell Robinson.

She received her early childhood and secondary education in the Lee County School System.  Throughout school, she was a very energetic and considerate young lady who was a ray of sunshine for teachers, fellow students, and close friends.  She accepted Christ at a young age and remained humble throughout life's journey.

Lear was united in marriage to the love of her life, William B. Mack, who preceded her in death.  They shared a love and devotion to one another that endured through the years and was unshakeable.  As a wife and mother,  she took great care in providing for her family.  Over the years, she poured herself into countless hours of diverse work experiences, including technician at M&M Mars, school crossing guard with the Dougherty County School System, and sales associate with Ross Dress for Less.  Lear was a dedicated worker and loyal employee who stayed the course to ensure that no task was ever left undone.  She retired after rendering a combined total of 47 years of unmatched service.  In addition to her professional life, she was also a member of the American Legion Post 512.

Often described as a compassionate, kind, and giving individual, Lear loved unconditionally and impacted the lives of everyone around her in a very special way.  She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend who saw the beauty in all things and accepted everyone for who they were.  Her heart and her doors were always open to anyone in need.  Lear's kind spirit and "open arms" will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

On May 13, 2022, Lear transitioned from this earthly journey to eternal peace and rest.  In addition to her parents and loving husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charlie Robinson.

Cherished memories will forever remain with her devoted children, Alvino B. Mack and Gail B. Mack; grandchildren, Gequez B. Mack, Ayasha N. Mack, Tra'chelle Lewis, Von'toria Harrison, and Caleb Reveer; daughter-in-love, Lizzie Blue Jackson; siblings, Willie (Ann) Robinson, Greg Crew, and Mary Ann Gibson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
