A Time to Be Born…

Letina Vette Young Jefferson, affectionately known as "Tina", entered this earthly journey on November 16, 1972 to Bishop Willie B. Young, Jr. & Mother Doristine Williams Young.

A Time to Plant…

The vines of her life were deeply rooted in Dougherty County, GA. The seeds of her Christianity were planted in her heart at an early age. She was a member of the Church of the Living God under the leadership of her great grandfather, Bishop William "Bill" Sibley and later transferred her membership to the Lighthouse Church of the Living God under the leadership of her father, Bishop Willie B. Young, Jr. It was there she sung in the choir, taught Youth Sunday School, served as the church secretary, event coordinator and member of the missionary board. Tina was educated in Dougherty County School System where she was a proud graduate of Westover High School class of 1990. She attended Albany Technical School earning an associate's degree in business management.  Her love for children and the quality of their education led to her becoming patent facilitator for the Dougherty County School system to bridge a pathway for students and their parents.

A Time to Love…

On December 15, 2000, Tina was united in marriage to Pastor Benjamin Ellis Jefferson, Sr. The joys and pleasures of her life were her family and friends. She also enjoyed crafts, sewing, decorating and working with children.
